By definition a 'short story' is a brief sort of prose that ranges from a 1000-5000 word limit.
However, not all short stories in this book will have a word limit of 5000 words. 
'It's Giving Mid' is an anthology short story collection but BEWARE it is reserved for all my stories of that are on the longer side of 'short story' (10000 words and up) so... I guess I'll call them medium stories - they're giving mid.
