This book is a spin off of the original TV series; The Summer I Turned Pretty. If you haven't already, I would strongly recommend watching the TSITP show prior to reading this book. If you choose not to, this book will be confusing, as this takes place in the future. This book takes place in the next summer of the orginal TV series timeline.

REMINDER: this book is my own spin off, so IT WILL NOT CONTAIN THE SAME PLOT LINE AS THE 2 OTHER BOOKS. There will be lots of scenes in this book that are just out of my imagination, but will still take place in the same place, and still the same timeline. So get ready for heartbreak and lots of drama!

Isabel, nicknamed Belly, has grown up with Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. Her mother, Laurel, is best friends with the boys' mother, Susannah. so Belly, her mom and her older brother, Steven, have spent every summer for the past 15 years at the Fishers' beach house in Cousins Beach.
