The Saber Master {Obi Wan Kenobi x reader}

A Jedi Master's job is to teach padawans how to use the force. A Saber Master's job is to teach padawans how to build a lightsaber. One must first find the kyber crystal that calls to oneself. Then, the padawan must make the lightsaber. Build it. Forge it. But don't crack the crystal. A cracked crystal will let oxygen into its core and it will cause a reaction. It will darken the crystal, and will turn red - the color of the dark side.

Saber Masters are rare, they must go through the normal training and pass all of the tests of a Jedi, and if they are suspected to have the talent, then they are tested some more.

Saber Masters must spend the rest of their life knowing how to use the force, yet never using it. They must spend the rest of their life following the Jedi code, while never being given the title of a Jedi. They must spend the rest of their life building, designing, making lightsabers, but never having one to call their own.

That is until the chosen one is discovered, and everything that the current saber master knows... goes to absolute shit.
