A book of poetry with rhymes and song,
When you read these pieces it won't take long.
You can take these poems with a grain of sand,
Or take them with you to your private land.
Keep them hidden or bring them to light,
Read them daily or deep at night.
These are my thoughts, ideas, and dreams,
Some will be heavy and sweet like cream.
So dear reader, I invite you in,
Make yourself comfy and let your mind spin.
