Marie was one of the first to enter the glade. at first she was vital to their plans of escape, but as time went on the others decided it was better to build a community than find a way out. Nearly two years later a new arrival comes that challenges the rules of the glade and believes he can help them break out. How far will she go for survival
(Mostly based off of the movies, but with elements of the books that I wanted to include)

The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. Skylar got sent up to the Glade the same way everyone else was sent up. In a moving box. There are three things different about her though, 1. She's a girl 2. She keeps remembering her life before the maze 3. Oh yeah, she was sent into the maze with a dead body next to her She was the first girl to be sent into the Glade. How will she survive in an area with only boys? Gasping, she awakens in a dark metal room. It jolts alive as she is lifted faster and faster up a shaft. Where is she, how did she get here. The cage screeches to a sudden halt and the roof doors are flung open by a group of filthy-looking boys. ----- Maze Runner FF. Fare warning though, I am approaching this from a mostly book view, though feel free to use movie characters for physical references. I have. This is also early Glade...
