Losing himself in the pleasure and ecstasy, Akaashi found himself spending his nights desperately trying to pretend that the hands which held him to the early hours of the morning were the ones whose warmth he seeked.

It eventually became a pattern like this. Whenever his heart felt empty and his mind began to lose the constant numbness that always seemed to surround his senses, Akaashi would find someone. Anyone. And let their heat distract him from the way his heart felt cold.

He'd always wake up with his voice hoarse. But his body always stayed untainted as he looked in the mirror. Even if Akaashi knew he was dirty, he'd let another person apart from Bokuto touch him after all, he couldn't help but feel as though staying unmarked would somehow continue to leave behind the trace of the red marks Bokuto would leave on his skin.

Spending his days like this, as days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, he desperately tried to avoid any and all things that have to go with Bokuto and Tokyo.

And eventually, years go by.
