*Completed* After a near death experience, Roman can see strange things, things that don't make sense. Animals that died, strange creatures that roam about, and a strange hooded figure that seems so familiar. No one else can see these things, though these things can see them. They can affect them as well. Virgil hates cities, the bigger the city the more death there is, the more work he has to do. His job is to guide souls to the after life, or if they turn malevolent, cut them down. The moment he was assigned to a city, he already had a death to take care of. Except, it turned out to be a false alarm since the man survived. Virgil wouldn't have cared too much since it happens often, but now that man can see him and other spirits. The ships will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus I will display trigger warnings at the beginning for every chapter as needed, which will include death (human and animal), main character death (kinda? they just be a ghost, they're still in the story), possible gore, and cursing. Prince Roman of the Ironfelt Kingdom is well known for being a heroic, flirtatious man. Everyone respects him, and sees him as a mighty hero, however as much of a hero he is, he's lonely. His only real friend is his Royal Assistant Logan Crofters. Lord Virgil Anxiety of the Dark Forest is the ruler and protector of the dark forest. He's known more as a legend/myth to everyone outside the dark forest, or as a evil, vious ruler. But to the creatures in the forest, he's a kind, lonely protector that just needs a little love. His only friend is a village boy that visits him named Patton Morre. This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go?
