Ruby's knuckles were perpetually white, her jaw clenched as she fought the constant, internal war. The demon's voice was an insidious whisper, a cold stream of promises and cruel insults that tried to shatter her resolve. It promised power, the end of her pain, but she saw it for what it was: a cage. She could feel its influence in the tremor of her hands, the flashes of cold contempt that tried to overtake her every thought. It was an exhausting, unending battle waged in the quiet confines of her mind.
But Ruby was not fighting alone. When the darkness threatened to consume her, she had her anchors. The steady, unwavering gaze of her friend, a hand on her shoulder that was warm and real, a lifeline against the demon's chilling touch. She would listen to their laughter, their mundane stories, and feel the cold tendrils of the demon's grip loosen, if only for a moment. They saw through the unnatural stillness in her eyes and loved the person she was beneath the demon's influence.
Their belief in her was the fuel for her resolve. It was not just a battle for her own soul, but a fight to stay connected to them, to the world she loved. The demon would hiss about her weakness, but she would counter it with the memory of a kind word, a shared joke, the quiet comfort of their presence. She would refuse to let the power and the darkness within her take over, not because she was strong enough on her own, but because she had something-and someone-worth fighting for.

Crimson Shine (Pyrrha Nikos x MaleReader)
The deed is done...the final RWBY Reader Insert of the set with Pyrrha Nikos herself! I'm just going to get this out of the way now. Yes, My OC is paired with Ruby, No this is not the only reason my OC exists. My art, MY RULES. Enough said. With a lot of the stories I've seen who create an OC team, the Reader seems to be the only one they focus on, what I'm trying to do is breathe a little more life into my characters and show that they are as much a part of the RWBY-verse as the Reader's character Anyways, after the dance comes the much-anticipated tournament. Yay RWBY fight scenes! While fighting against Team CRDL, Tooth & Nail's final trick comes out to play: Stances Basically, stances are different ways that the Reader's character fights using each mode. So we kick things off with a fight scene (Like RWBY do) and I won't lie, I was getting pumped up just writing this. Then afterwards, the Reader and Pyrrha have a little talk about destiny when suddenly Grimm start attacking, and then we meet the final White Fang Alpha, the Martial Artist. If the Reader had an evil twin, this would be him. Getting up close and personal, this Eagle Faunus loves a challenge and loves it even more when he utterly destroys them. Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it? They live in an apartment with the humans. Scarlet is a writer, she publishes her own books while Danny is an accountant.
