We're broken people now
We're burning out
So cold I'm bleeding now now now
Gonna let you down
We're broken people now
We're broken people now
Tell me I won't ever be nothin', ain't that somthin'?
I've risen from the bottom
I got 'em eyes on the prize and inside 'em
Damn right I overcame, y'all know the name
We similar but never been the same
Everybody, yeah they know the name
Right now, we'll make it some how
We'll make it some way
Yeah you know we gon' get it today like
I'm all on my own now
I won't ever let you down
Won't let you down down down
Yes I've been through it
They know I do it for the people
I'm fighting so we be equal
For my son and my sequel
And anybody who listenin'
In they system like venom
I get in 'em and spread visciously
This is me

Revan, Jedi Knight, Saviour, Hero of the Republic. Those titles meant nothing now. He was no one now. On the run, hunted, the weight of failure crushing him. In hiding, he watched as the Empire rose, as the galaxy fell into darkness, as the few remaining Jedi, scattered and alone, fought a losing battle. He had failed them all. He wandered the galaxy, a broken man. The Empire's grip tightened, its tendrils of control and fear spreading ever wider. He watched as worlds fell, their populations crushed under the heel of the Emperor's boot. He knew he could do nothing to stop it. He was nothing but a failure, a shadow of his former self. He failed everybody who ever believed in him, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Padme, Riyo... and Anakin. The thought of him brought a bitter taste to his mouth. He had failed his brother. He had watched as Anakin had fallen, had become Darth Vader, had slaughtered younglings, had led the Empire to the brink of absolute dominance. And still, he felt his presence still in the galaxy, a dark specter haunting him. He found himself a backwater planet, a world far from the front lines of the war, named Deralia. It was a a remote planet approximately a hundred light years beyond the Outer Rim. The locals were a hardy, independent lot. They knew little of the galaxy beyond their own small world, and cared even less. Revan took to living among them, using the alias 'Nevar Nash' and working as a laborer and mechanic in one of the cities. He kept to himself, speaking only when necessary. He blended in with the locals, his face unremarkable and his demeanor unassuming. He found solace in the simple life they led, away from the galaxy's endless conflict. But this was the start of Revan's new journey, the solace and simple life was not to last. His old nature in protecting the innocent would be his downfall. But... you'll have to find out more by reading, Star Wars: Revan - Book 2: The Dark Times.

Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

It was said before...dark times approach as the sun and the moon go by, and it was true. Everyone that could, as well as everyone that couldn't, were able to feel it somehow. That darkness felt like a knot in the throat, a tickle in the pit of the stomach, a shiver in the bones...and it felt closer. The Clone Wars continued to escalate and they seemed to have no end, our heroes grew tired everyday and wondered if this could be called "a life" anymore; their happiness seemed to last merely seconds, specially since the team no longer is what it once was. However, not everything is sadness, not everything is sorrow. There's also love, there's also happiness, and most importantly, there's hope. Hope that everything will get better, hope that there could be a bright future for the Galaxy and it's inhabitants. The questions that remained were if this light could defeat the darkness, if good could overcome evil, if people could remain happy, if love was really the strongest power, if angels could turn into demons and if those angels could defeat demons or if demons could turn back into angels. There's only one way to find out, by travelling through the second part of this story. We'll watch the Battle of the Heroes, we'll listen to the Duel of the Fates and we'll see if there's a New Hope. We'll see if good prevails or if it is defeated by the shadows once and for all. Only love and death are the change of it all. i do not own the STAR WARS cinematic universe nor its characters besides Allana Naberrie. Mandalorians weren't a common sight on Tatooine, even for a Jedi-turned-bounty hunter by the name of Annalisa Veruna. She had lived on the dirt planet ever since she and her father escaped the terror that occurred at Coruscant, left to fend theirselves after Anakin Skywalker wreaked havoc on the Temple. Annalisa witnessed the horror at age three. Her father retreated to the planet take care of her and her newborn sister. The Empire had fallen. Annalisa witnessed it all. She was there when her sister stabbed a lightsaber through their father's chest and when she fled to join the Empire. Now that it disappeared into the shadows, Annalisa was left alone in her childhood home with two droids. Hunting was what she was good at and it paid for her necessities. Even when most would say she was living a good life, there was something missing: a sense of adventure. Her body ached to be in another battle for the greater good of the galaxy. It wasn't until a constantly repaired, worn-out "Razor Crest" landed in bay three-five that Annalisa saw how crazy her tracking fob had gone. Whatever fifty year old quarry was on that ship, everyone was after it. It called for an investigation... And perhaps an adventure. ~ ~ -- I do not own anything related to Star Wars or the franchise. I only added (and own) my OCs to the show for fun, so much so that I changed some parts : ) -- This story will include blood, gore, serious language, existential crises, death, heartbreak, fighting/dueling, and romantic endeavors. As with most warriors, there will be trauma, protrayals of panic attacks, anxiety, and the like.
