She slowly unwraps his cold layers, revealing a warmth of light hidden beneath decades of death, betrayal and hatred for her kind. He finds her amusing. A/N: This is book 2 of a series I've already started- would definitely recommend reading book one first. Or you might be rather confused at times,plus has major spoilers of the original!! So, it should be effortless for him to catch her since she has no superhuman abilities. Except it's not. Tempest has a deadly virus no scientist, no government, no god can ever get rid of.
