I wrote Beneath in the midst of an anxiety attack. It's about how I was feeling at the time. I had just transferred to a new school and I felt so lonely and depressed, but I had to pretend like everything was fine because it was the best thing to do at the time.
This short-story/piece of prose-poetry depicts me as a young girl being pulled apart by the waves in my life...
