Where was he? Where had he landed? Stumbling through the dark, he nearly tripped - this body was several kilograms lighter and more muscular than his previous body - and fell against the doors of the TARDIS. Fumbling for the handle, he yanked back, and fell out the doors to land in an unceremonious heap.
"Well, can't say I expected that." A decidedly non-British voice stated, amused. "Are you hurt? Or am I just hallucinating that a '60s British police box appeared in the middle of the woods with a half dead guy in it?"

All throughout history, the Doctor, the lone survivor of the Time War, is known for traversing through time and space, going on terrifying adventures and defying death. I also want to state that at this point in time, I have not finished watching Doctor Who, so my writing might not be as story-accurate. No hate. If this isn't what you enjoy, then don't read it.

As such, the young girl's mother did the only reasonable, logical, thing...they took Emily with them and also called the police to let them know that she had found a little girl who appeared to be lost. Six years later, Emily's life appeared to be coming together quite nicely...until she met a mysterious stranger who quickly shook her world to its foundations. Instead of the stories she very much liked to read, she was now living a wonderful, mysterious, exciting adventure of her own.
