Stumbling through the dark, he nearly tripped - this body was several kilograms lighter and more muscular than his previous body - and fell against the doors of the TARDIS. Fumbling for the handle, he yanked back, and fell out the doors to land in an unceremonious heap.

"Well, can't say I expected that." A decidedly non-British voice stated, amused. "Are you hurt? Or am I just hallucinating that a '60s British police box appeared in the middle of the woods with a half dead guy in it?"

I am choosing to be creative through this story and some characters may not appear purely because that's the way I've written it. I also have no hate at all for our girl Rose, she is and will always be my favourite companion, but I was inspired to write a story like this. I studied hard to try to capture each Doctor's personality as they speak and interact, although I do admit that having a cast of 28 causes several characters to get lost within the dialogue. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions. If you aren't familiar with each and every Doctor, this story will get very confusing. That being said, I hope you enjoy!
