As one part fills, the other empties. When one is half empty, the other is half full. The balance to life, good and evil lies in the spilling of an hourglass. When Colette walks into a mysterious store, she spots an hourglass which only she could see. With a tip of her finger, good and evil will forever change. Forced to choose between two paths in a limited amount of time, Colette stands on the verge of life and death.

A strange and mysterious boy, new to town, soon enrolls in her school with his eyes set on her. When the balance of life gets thrown off course, Colette must act fast before life as we know it, comes to an end. Like the sand that lay in the bottom when the time runs out, Colette now must either wait until someone comes along to turn it around, or she might just forever be buried within the chaos.
