Indigo Wheeler lacked all the grace, politeness and money that her cousin Nancy and her family possessed, in fact looking at her it was impossible to tell they were even related.
A loner. A dork. A freak. Indigo had a lot of reasons not to fit in at Hawkins High, a lot of reasons as to why she had wanted to avoid the place all together.
Life had never been kind to Indigo, people avoided her, they didn't see her, but there's always someone watching, even if at first you don't see them.

This is Book 1, and will be slightly shorter than the following books due to using season 4 as base, the next few books will be completely my own work, and therefore longer!!!

Moving into the small town of Hawkins during her sophomore year of high school wasn't a treat, but she didn't let it ruin her spirits too much. In fact, she even made some new friends along the way. Granted, most of them were in middle school and were major nerds, but that didn't bother her. She even joined in on some of their DnD campaigns whenever they invited her. It was fun, that was until one of the kids, Will, went missing. Along the way to finding him, (Y/N) befriends some people from her own school, including the goody-two-shoes Nancy Wheeler, and her boyfriend, Steve "The Hair" Harrington. She never really understood why everyone was obsessed with Steve. Or was everyone obsessed with his hair? She never knew. He could be a real asshole sometimes, too. But for whatever reason, she finds herself becoming closer with him the more they hang out. Maybe the king himself wasn't all too bad. - I've rewritten this book as I didn't like the plot all too much! You can find it on my profile titled "Waiting For A Girl Like You".
