TLDR- The Author watched the Steven Universe movie for the twentieth time as was writing an Angel's Friends fan fic- annnnd now we're here.

Purple Diamond was the beloved sister of Pink Diamond, but not so loved by the others. So, after Pink Diamond was shattered, there was no one to protect her court from being dismantled. 

Purple escapes to another planet on the far side of the galaxy, taking refuge with a half gem named Raf, and her friends Sweet, Mikki, and Urie.

For once in her infinite life, she felt accepted, and then, those strange inhabitants appeared.

Why was he looking at her like that? Why does she feel this thumping in her gem- why does something so wrong feel so right?
