Emily Ryan thought life was going pretty well. She has been dating Eric Moore for five years. He's a hot lawyer. She thought she finally won in love considering her curves are not a prize most men want to deal with.
All that crashes down around her when she walks in on him screwing her older perfect sister on her living room floor.

Myles has always found some way to torture her over the guys she's tried to date since she was old enough to date. If not for her sister Melanie stealing most of those guys his comments didn't help. She can't stand him and he can't stand her. She really can't stand the fact that his chocolate skin, deep brown eyes, and the fact that he is sexy as sin is distracting her in her drunken state.

Myles confuses her when he decides to take her home and take care of her. Myles is a temptation she can't afford as she tries to move through her heartbreak. But when Eric proposes to Melanie at a fourth of July BBQ in front of her family and other police officers of Danley her world starts to crash especially learning Melanie is pregnant with Eric's baby.

Myles wants her has always wanted her. He kept away from her because he promised Tyler he wouldn't date his sisters. He distracted guys she was interested in or they in her towards Melanie, or away entirely. If he couldn't have her no guy would until Eric came along and ruined that for five years.
