The world is in a state of chaos after the Screechers release their hellish attacks and obliterate 1/3 of the worlds population.

Orphan Evander, ostracised from the world, as he holds the demonic sigil, that's slowly eating away at his soul and spirit. His past, unbeknownst to him from the age of 7 and young. His life's enigma, slowly but surely the pieces of the puzzle are restored.

He battles demons at night and hunger at day. A daily routine that is interrupted when a group called the Emortuus is recruiting him to battle against the Screechers, however there lay dark secrets, and many more monstrosities are yet to be revealed.

Is he willing to take the easier path of survival? Or live constantly on thin ice?

The crowd's dull eyes were now alight with a passionate fire, cheering and shouting in agreement.
His hard yet unflinching gaze sent a shiver down my spine as his piercing blue eyes scanned over the auditorium.
"For we have nothing left to lose" he rasped, balling his hands into a fist.
This only encouraged the crowd further as they erupted in cheers, chanting his name in unison.
Only moments later a blood curling screech was heard, silencing the area immediately. The mix of fear and dread filled everyone's eyes.
"They're here." he whispered.

With no one for company but each other, danger lurking only a few yards away from their homes, and half of their loved ones swept away in a mysterious event known only as 'The Vanishing', the morale of the populous is at an all time low. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support. While dangerous, they manage the task fine until one journey out they stumble across a disturbing, gruesome revelation that reveals not only more about the city, but the end of the world as a whole. I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! My blue eyes fumed in anger as my wolf was released. I am a white wolf. Liam's eyes bulged as he saw my true form. He then smiled ready to fight. I lunged for the bastard, knocking him to the ground. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
