In the alternative universe, there are various species of creatures. Some can fly, others can swim, and many just roam on the grass. In the recent days, the Mystical World has become dangerous due to a poisonous weed like plant, the highly endangered two legged, horned, fluttering orange creatures, the Lalaoofs, are dying faster and younger every year. Now the few that are left are forced to isolate themselves in an underground bunker. A curious, and adventurous Lalaoof named Wilda however, disobeys her family and explores the world to search for a place where more Lalaoofs could be hidden, and a way to stop the dangerous plants, despite her unfortunate small wings and lack in flying. Wilda unlocks many deep and mysterious secrets of the world, and even some of her family's secrets. Will Wilda find out why she can bearly get two feet off the ground with her wings, or will she suddenly become mistakenly famous with a huge lie?
Seaborn Seraqua is a Sea Creature called an Aqua San. Seaborn and his family are forbidden to go on land, and have been forbidden for the last one hundred years. When practical, and wise Seaborn meets the strong willed Wilda, he changes her entire life. Is it for the better or worse... or both?
I considered writing this book for two years and I am finally doing it!
By the way, this is a very spunky story, which also has multiple narrators! Enjoy the story, and don't forget, for the Mystical Creatures, they rely more on nature than technology, so they are very much different than humans!
Something is killing them, wings breaking, angels dieing and the kingdom falling into a dark shadow. The one born that started it all is unaware of what is coming right at her. Evil lurks in plain sight and goods trembles. This 5 year old has a lot coming at her.
"She fluttered down to the ground, pulled her winds in and rolled up into a ball on the ground. Her eyes filled with water. Slowly a small drop came out at the end of her black eyes. Rolling down onto her cheekbone and upon her pale cheek. Dropping to her jaw and slowly on her chin. It quickly fell off into her lap. She was crouching now, her arms around her knees and knees tucked in. Tears started streaming down on her face. Her nose started to run, dropping down onto her lips and past, moving to her chin and off, just like the tears. Falling every millisecond now. The wind blew her hair into her face, making it stick to the water. Sniffling her nose every now and again, Seraphina couldn’t stop herself. She opened her mouth to scream, to yell so her pain would leave but her voice disappeared. Nothing came out. She blamed herself for everything, she could have stopped them, done something to help, but no, she stood there, frozen. She clenched her fists. She grabbed what she could and threw it. But she couldn’t settle down, her heart was too hurt and her mind only made things worse."
