An orphan, at the age of 12, she began to control her quirk. After timelessly practicing, in the park right next to her orphanage. She can move things on fire with her mind. She can control the heat of what goes on fire, but she can also turn off the firre, and just simply move things with her mind.
After realizing her powerful quirk, her dream had always been, was to become a hero. After she figured out her fathers identity, she wanted to show him that, she would never fall into the hands of villainy. But, how can she resist, joining, and getting rid of her fathers organization. He abandoned his daughter, thinkng she would not benefit him. He would beat his daughter. Until the age of 8, she was placed into the foster care system in America, trying to separate him and his daughter.
What happens when the famous villain, Dabi comes into her picture, he tries his hardest to convince her. Even going a little far, saying he's "In love"with her. But shes already interested in someone else. And that is Dabis' brother, Shoto Todoroki.
So eventually, she has to choose, between heroism, and villainy, between Shoto Todoroki, and Touya Todoroki.

"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home.
