When the destined day came, fate smiled upon her, and the dragon king chose to spare her life despite his evident hatred for humans. It was not love at first sight. He simply felt a strange and impossible sense of familiarity when he laid his eyes upon Rosa despite having never seen her before. To discover why and fulfill his curiosity, he accepted the girl into the castle, keeping her alive but caged until the truth was revealed.
