Link, overshadowed by his traumatic past, keeps his secrets close. His life may depend on it.
His two sides are at war as he falls in love with Princess Zelda and grows to trust her more and more. Will he tell her his deepest and darkest secrets and pave the way for a relationship built on love and trust, or will he keep them close and build a relationship on love and lies? Will his past get in the way of a healthy relationship?

Along the way, Link and Zelda uncover secrets of the long-forgotten, dark past of Hyrule. Can they take it and survive? Can they live with the things they've been through, seen, and done, or will it be too much for them to take?

Follows the events of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

There are many parts and some locations that I have made up and are not canon. I have decided to not put in the Champions from the future, and I have altered details about some of the characters. After the events of Age of Calamity end,(after defeating Ganon)the events are purely original and are not part of the Legend of Zelda storyline.

This is a very long story and may be boring in some parts, but it does get more exciting

Every chapter is in a different character's perspective (Link to Zelda, Zelda to Link, Link to Impa, etc.)
