Valery is usually always calm and collected unless provoked. Valery and her best friend Madison are in their senior year of high school. School has started and there is already so much drama. Monica Pierce, the girl who Valery has hated since middle school is always the one starting it. Valery might be a strong girl but when a certain new kid comes to the school, he changes all that.

Cyrus Salvatore is a very intelligent kid but that doesn't mean he makes the right decisions. He is the type to sneak out of school and smoke or skateboard. He had never paid much attention to the world around him until he had to go to the same school as his friend, Kayden Wood. Him never paying much attention and being quiet made people think he is weird because he is quiet. He might be quiet but he's not innocent.
