Young Elodie Dane has been best friends with Charlie Conway since ever. They joined the District Five hockey team at 9 and have pathetically played with the team since. But when they get a new coach things start to change. Bombay takes a liking to the two friends and teaches them things they'd never have known without him.
Elodie is going through many changes and starts feeling feelings she doesn't really understand.
As the team gets better and better, her emotions get stronger and stronger. How will she get through it?
