When Robin comes out to Steve in the bathrooms of the star court mall, Steve starts to question his own sexuality and how he feels about genders that aren't strictly female. He still feels sparks for Nancy, but with Jonathan and her planning to go to the same college, he knows he can't go after a girl who's heart belongs to someone else, but when tension starts to arise in Hawkins, deaths appear left and right, some new sparks arise, between him and a wanted criminal for murder.
