Two boys with Insomnia run into each other, Both struggle with bullying and their sexual identity. They each slowly fall in love from afar. Who knew freshman year of high school held so many possibilities?
The characters look how they did in season 3, Upside down doesn't exist. Placed in the 80s but Probably won't be realistic.

these characters aren't mine!! trigger warnings : violence, alcohol, mention of drug use, mention of abuse, language this fic focuses on 16 year old michael wheeler and 16 year old william byers. william byers is moving into a new neighbourhood with his father, his mother, his sister and his older brother. while will has to start a brand new school hes also struggling with family issues. navigating this new life is hard, and hiding who he is is even harder. michael wheeler has lived in hawkins all his life, he lives with his father, his mother, and his older and little sister. while his fathers beliefs on homosexuality pressure him to be someone hes not, he also has bad grades. but he has his friends. and his job, he can still make him somewhat happy... right?

He's working at a laboratory with his biomedical science degree called Hawkins Lab. When she goes to school and meets a group of four boys who have similar interests as her, they hit it off right away. Especially with Will Byers. They have lots in common, they're shy, love dungeons and dragons way more than the other three boys, and they both have a single parent. Not to mention, they both have older brothers who are in the same grade at Hawkins High School.
