Rayman Recharged Season 4 is based off the first Rayman game and is way different from the rest of the series, taking place 500 years before the other seasons. The Glade of Dreams was an idyllic place where nature and people lived in peace. That all changes when the Great Protoon, the relic that maintains balance in the Glade, is stolen by a mysterious figure dubbed Mr. Dark. Betilla, the leader of the Nymphs, has never faced a situation this dire and has no idea what to do. On her search for a solution, she meets Dave, a magician who introduces her to the Rays, particles from the moons that can be made into anything the user desires. The two hatch a plan to make these Rays into a being who can't be corrupted by touching the Protoon, made to resemble Dave's deceased son, Mago, and possessing his memories, lead him on his journey to the Protoon, and make things right!

This is an AU timeline that takes place in the Season 3 finale and beyond within The Dragon Prince series. In the original timeline, Rayla tackled Viren off the pinnacle of the Storm Spire. Callum performed the "Manus. Pluma. Volantus." spell and saved Rayla before both Rayla and Viren hit the ground. But in this AU timeline, Callum got to the pinnacle of the Storm Spire and tackled Viren off the pinnacle before Rayla could even do anything. Now, Rayman, alongside his friends, Globox, who has coincidentally swallowed Andre, and Aline Mansay, everyone's favorite Teensie wizard, and with some unexpected help from Princess Elysia of the Second Moon, who believes this whole incident was her doing, he must get Andre out of Globox's stomach, defeat the Hoodlums, and put things right!
