Arriving in a new world surrounded by dragons is a daunting prospect, but coming into one with only shattered visions of my past should be downright terrifying. No one recognizes me any more than I recognize myself,  but for some reason, everything seems familiar.

Set in the world of Angels with Scaly Wings, this story explores a branch in the timeline where Reza wasn't the only human who landed in the world of dragons on their first expedition.  Follow the path of the other human, a cyborg with broken memories, and an impossible body through a new take on the story.

This is the beginning of the story of a friend group of dragons attending a much more developed and populated version of Jade Mountain Academy. Starting in the Quartz Winglet in the year 5058 A.S., these students live average lives and as the series goes on, things develop and change, mentally and physically for them. I would consider this a Wings of Fire fanfiction, although it's a bit complicated as it's based off of real life. The dragons in this are all my classmates as their Wings of Fire OCs, (meaning some of the OCs aren't mine) or, if they don't know wings of fire and/or don't have an OC, just them as a WoF dragon. Since it's based off of real life, it doesn't have much of a plot, so be prepared for that. This is the first book in the Random Moments of JMA series, and things change as the series goes.

Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" I'd never forgotten her truly, blue was the only thing I knew and that Neptunian shade was so striking it stuck with me from the night she screamed at me in the rain but it wasn't until I found all the papers, the notes and crystals that I started to remember the world she lived in. One that wasn't my own and that had so much more to offer. It sounded crazy but I knew it was real and getting there, finding her and fixing the bridge that I'd unwittingly burned was going to be hard but I was ready to be more than a desk jockey typing my life away. I wanted to see the orange skies instead of the blue and find her sitting in a field of crystals again, staring at the stars.
