Mia has never been able to say no. Not to her mother, her friends or even the stranger on the street who needed help picking up after their dog.

It took her a long time to realise she wasn't happy with how her life had turned out - twenty-five years old with no college degree and no job worth mentioning. She finds herself desperate for happiness and is willing to step out of her comfort to find it.

When tragedy sparks change, she is forced into a life she isn't sure she wants. Strange trips to the markets and desperately trying to find clothes that won't make her new annoyingly handsome co-worker laugh become her new norm. She refuses to fall back into the same old patterns, but it's more complicated than she thought.
