You turned to him. His face was serious, his yellow eyes piercing. "Hmmmm, well I wanna be a doctor when I grow up."
"Why?"
"So I can patch you up every time you get injured," you flashed him a wide smile.
Hanma may only be 10, but he knew what that thundering in his chest meant. He's felt it ever since he met you. But he wished the opposite every day after you disappeared without saying goodbye, only to reappear with a bullet in your chest.
