When Adora, a broke college student, sees an ad for a new show called "shera" missing lead actors who will get payed a generous price, she thinks it is the perfect opportunity!
At the same time, Catra, a rebellious high school dropout, needs some extra cash. Her roommate Lonnie tells her about a new show directed by one of their friends Rohelio, who could pull some strings to get Catra a lead role, why would she refuse?
