Mazikeen Mikaelson is a name that people only hear whispers of in the night. A scary story you tell before bed. Any Mikaelson name should be feared when you live in New Orleans. Unlike her siblings who are very public she isn't, so people believed she was a myth since no one had actually seen her. They only heard stories about her from the other Mikaelson siblings. Rumor had it she was Klaus Mikaelson's twin sister but, when she snapped, she was the most horrifying sibling out of them all. On any other day she was as sweet as can be and blended in with the mundanes. Klaus and her are the only hybrids ever to walk the earth. No matter how hard they tried to make more it just didn't work. Until one day when it finally worked but, what happens when it was her best friend and it wasn't on purpose but an accident. Would they see it as a blessing or a curse. Would Maze regret the decision even if it was to save a life. After centuries with her siblings, they got separated after an attempt on their life. She believed she was the only Mikaelson left so, she left New Orleans and after a while settled down in a small town called Beacon Hills.

He befriends the Peterson siblings who are original demons and Freya's childhood enemies. His new allegiances putting a strain on his relationship with his family. As he is forced to pick between his old family and his forever growing new family. All whilst, embracing physical changes and new challenges as he adopts the role of 'father' for two young children.
