Lost on the Inside

This story is about a runaway named Diego. Diego lives in a small house in Haiti. He's 8 years old and is counting down the minutes to 2010, A new year for him. But this year is one he ran away from. Diego is suffering and can either go to the Dominican Republic with his mother, or he can stay with his father who is a drug addict. With his now divorced parents, Diego moves in with his mother, only to found how cruel she was on the inside. He starts to make Runaway plans day after day and night after night. One day after his birthday, Diego makes his final decision to runaway and hides in a destroyed forest from the earthquake. After months of running away, Diego decides to return to his Father, only to find him dying on the floor. Diego decides to starts to fixing his house and invite his mother back. Although the mother refuses, Diego married Gabby and they both adopts their Daughter, and together, they fix the damage brought to their house in Haiti.
