When Bryan was 5 he witnessed much abuse of drugs and alcohol from his mother Judith after his much abusive father Edwin left when he was 4. 

Now, Bryan is 15 years old and is being physically and verbally abused by his mother. 

Bryan had begun to self harm when he was 13 and grew deeper and further into his seemingly undying depression. 

Then one day he meets Rory, a mysterious and intriguing young man with much secrets hidden behind a plastered on fake smile. Just as Bryan begins to have suicidal thoughts, his world is changed by the realization that he is not alone for the first time in his life.

 But will it be enough to pull him back from the waste land in his mind and the darkness in his damaged and nearly broken heart? And will his silent cries finally be heard?
