Callisto could hardly remember a time when she was content. Moments of happiness had come and gone, but she had not been content with her life in a long time. Not since her parents mysterious death when she was 9.
But when Vandar welcomes her into his family, she can't help but feel content. With her friends, her family.
When the unimaginable happens, she's alone. Again. And she doesn't handle i well.
She never would have guessed she'd run into one of the people she thought she'd lost forever outside a brothel. And she also didn't expect her to be with... an enforcer??
Now she learns that she could possibly get back some of the family she missed dearly. And she isn't going to let them slip through her fingers this time.
