Isis was a S.H.I.E.L.D experiment. They were trying to recreate the super-soldier serum. No, it didn't go wrong but the new serum had some side effects. Isis now has inhuman powers. S.H.I.E.L.D let her go, thinking they had no use for her, but when Isis resurfaces years later as a government agent, Director Fury once again takes an interest in her. 

Recruited for the Avengers Initiative, Isis instantly makes enemies with Steven Rogers, the man she was created after. But Isis has secrets and unknown powers hidden within her. Both of them have strong personalities, they clash a lot. Spending weeks and months together in that one cell, bored out of their minds. After spending so much time together, things start to change... *Author's Note*-I make a point to make everything I write unique and original. I don't like doing what's already been done so this story should be like no other Loki fanfic you've read before. I also like to change the original storyline a bit so this story doesn't necessarily follow the storyline of the Marvel movies. I've incorporated elements from Norse mythology and other stories I've read but have made them my own. I hope you find this story to be unique and something you would recommend to others as well. Samantha's P.O.V. Hi, my name's Samantha. When I was just a baby my parents left me in an orphanage. When I was about four I started to develope powers. This was something that had never happened before, other than if you were an experiment, or if you were Superman. Anyway, I could melt things, freeze them, move things without touching them, I could speak to people through their mind and no one else would know, stuff like that. I had no idea why I could do these things but I could. Other kids in the orphanage became scared of me, mostly cause I couldn't control my powers. Even the headmistress of the orphanage was afraid. At the time however I had no idea why I couldn't play with the other kids, so it made me sad. Eventually I was given my own room, I would write and draw and I had asked the headmistress to teach me how to read and she did. I stayed till I was ten, then I ran. I knew no one would follow me, so I just ran. (part of the story. Samantha, John, and Thomas are the only original characters in this story. So far. All others belong to Marvel.)
