Banished from the Autobot Base on multiple counts of breaking protocol, Sentinel Prime finds himself in the Great Lake State of Michigan where he encounters a seemingly normal teenaged girl by the name of Sari Sumdac and a Decepticon assassin with an important task at hand.
A few days after the encounter, Ironhide, Sideswipe, and Chromia are sent out to the Motor City of Detroit to help Sentinel learn to the basics of combat, discipline, and leadership.
Together, Sentinel Prime, Ironhide, Sideswipe, Chromia, Grimlock, and Sari Sumdac defend Michigan from the ever growing threat of the Decepticons.

Hidden Spark on Earth (TFP)
A terrified girl finds herself mixed up with three other children in a war that had somehow reached to them. Unlike the other children, she did not have a home to go back to. Scars like hers run too deep and she does not know what worth she could even give to the transformers who have now become her guardians to protect her from decepticons. Her near constant presence in their base seems to be a bother to the transformers, she can tell even if they do not say it out loud to her. The girl is not a fool. However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear. And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. And she did not know why. Megatron himself feels he simply had taken something so precious from Prime, and enjoys watching the autobot panic in trying to find her. But, the girl began to confuse his spark. The NEST team encountered a Decepticon and successfully took the con down without any witnesses, the bots and team NEST returned back to base but with a catch. A tiny catch that is.
