(Apologies...this is old and bad but it's necessary for (REDACTED; will let you know when publishing) and I don't have the time or energy for a rewrite.)
It wasn't too long ago that a snowfall happened in Nathan's (fictional)hometown in Montana. And a rather large one at that. It caused school to be cancelled, but it still left room for learning from home.
However, there was something different about this snowstorm. People and friends of Nathan began to go missing, and once returned, they had turned into horrible monsters forcing every last remaining uninflected human to band together and fight for survival and to uncover the mystery of the snowstorm and the monsters in its wake.

Death's Reason
Hades had warned him that some deaths shouldn't be stopped but he hadn't listened. At the time, Nico had had too much hope, too much confidence, too many heroic thoughts. When he chose to save Leo Valdez's life, the end of the world began. Through the help of Kronos after so undeniably earning it, Nico must go back in time to fix his mistake, to let Leo Valdez die so all of them can live. But Kronos has his own plans and his own game, and Nico finds himself waking up to Bianca's face in the cold snow of Maine. When Matthew and Mason Hoover receives an invitation from a long-lost colleague, they were offered to join him at a secluded resort to spend the holidays together. The siblings were thrilled. But it all goes downhill when a wicked cult ruins their visit by targeting them along with other people. Momentarily, their vacation turned into a freakish nightmare when the cult began obliterating other vacationers. But the cult went there for one particular reason only, Money. *** Blood isn't the enemy, it's greed! and the Hoover siblings are somehow linked to the resort's prize possession.
