I took a small step closer to him with all of the courage I had. I couldn't see him, but I could feel him. I felt his muscles lightly press against my skin, his respiration making me want to faint into his arms. "So, why are you here?" I asked. "You wanted to say goodbye before my journey here ends?" "No," he said, stepping so close to me, our bodies touched. "I wanted to give us a new beginning." He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulled me close, and looked me in my eyes. A look of protection. A look of safety. His hands grabbed my waist and pulled me even closer. Even if I tried, his commanding arms wouldn't let me move. I felt him lowering his head past my lips, to my neck. "May I?" he said in a breathless tone."

"Hell no. You don't get to just barge back into my life and tell me who I can and can't date." "Well, then, you must have lost your fucking mind, in the time that I was gone, if you think I'm just gonna do nothing about that." "Do nothing about me dating? Who are you, my father?" I questioned, turning to walk away from him. I was sick of talking to him and going in circles. "You're actually a child." "No, I'm a grown ass man, Iza. I just don't like the idea of other boys touching you." "Fuck you and your ideas." I turned, narrowing my eyes at him and flicking him off with both hands. "I wish I could shove them down your throat, so you can taste the bullshit in them." "There's something I wish I could shove down your throat, too, but I respect you." ~ • 𓆉 • ~ 𓆉 • ~ 𓆉 Eleven years of friendship. Four years of silence.
