The Sound the TARDIS Makes

Evelyn has never had quite a normal life. Orphaned at eleven years old, both her parents and her little sister and brother killed in a car crash on an icy road one life-altering night, Evelyn is put into the care of her grandparents. Little Evelyn is wary of the old house her grandparents own, but soon finds herself at home when she meets the warm and friendly ghost named Nik. When Evelyn tells her grandparents about the ghost boy she sees, they're skeptical and don't believe her. With her Grandfather sick and constantly in the hospital, her Grandmother takes matters into her own hands and ships her off to Saint Mary Anne's Psychiatric Hospital, believing her to be delusional.
Years pass.
Evelyn, now seventeen years old, has been out of the Psychiatric Hospital for two years, after spending three long years there. Her Grandfather is finally healthy again and brings her home. Life is well again.
One snowy light, eerily similar to the night her parents and brother died, Evelyn ventures into the woods after receiving an alarming message from Nik. She falls through the not quite frozen ice, sent tumbling into the dark abyss of freezing water currents.
She's pulled from the water by a strange man, a strange man with a blue box.
And everything changes.
She learns new things about the universe, about herself, and the new man she's so intrigued by. As her questions are answered, more arise and Evelyn must push back the lies she's been fed her entire life and find the bare truth.
Whether it kills her or not.
