Have you ever read an action novel, filled with romance, drama, and adrenaline pumping scenes? Don’t you just love the rush it gives you when you read the books and you can feel them come to life? All are welcome. Nobody’s perfect so you don’t have to be a published author to join. All amateurs are welcome. Now, being an amaeur doesn’t mean your writing is bad. This just means your writing hasn’t been published and there is no pressure at being a professional. For this contest, you will choose one of the selected prompts and write at your own will from there. However, make sure to read up on the rule book before you begin writing.

From the contest Write to Rank, a competition about action writing with challenges every week. This is my entry on the contest. Hope you enjoy it. Released : Part 1 -white belt : write a 100 words flash-fiction action about the realization of danger. The wordcount must be exactly 100 Part 2 -yellow belt : write a 500 words flash-fiction with the prompt "Dead or alive. You're coming with me." The wordcount max is 500 words Part 3 -orange belt : write an 800 words flash-fiction with dialogue between good and bad. The wordcount max is 800 words Part 4 -green belt : write a 1000-1500 words flash-fiction using the genres of action & thriller/horror. Must mostly contain active sentences and fast-paced. It has to be first person perspective. Part 5 -blue belt : write a 1000-1500 words flash-fiction using the theme "Ride or Die" with a third person perspective and the show not tell sentences. Part 6 -purple belt : write a 1000-1500 words action fantasy with a plot twist. Part 7 -brown belt : write a 2000-2500 words action + free theme and with active sentences. End with an insane cliffhanger. Part 8 -red belt : write a 3000-3500 words (continuation of the brown belt) + active sentences and fast-paced. I risk my life on a daily bases saving others, strangers, kids, families, anyone my team and I can help ranging from terrorist attacks to bombs to pretty much anything. The training that I received a few years ago allows me to do that, it allows me to be the best person that I can be, if I could go back to the day I joined the military I wouldn't change a single thing; the only thing I would've changed in my journey is to have looked after her better. This is the second book in the Hitman series, it can be read as a standalone but you'll understand characters a bit better if you read 'Falling for a Hitman' first. Get hooked on the fast paced, heart racing action, and fall for the romance. The second I heard her say my name I knew I was in too deep. I knew I'd do everything in my power to protect her. When her ex came to town I made sure to do just that. When she finished her shower that first night in my home, I fell for her. Never in a million years did I think love at first sight existed but dammit was I wrong. I have nightmares, I ran far to get away from my ex. I never thought he would find me after I changed my name and moved 1500 miles away from my hometown. When he whispered in my ear I thought I was going to die right there in the middle of the dance floor. Luckily I had big strong tattooed arms to fall into, and I never wanted to leave that embrace. We knew nothing about the other. The deceit, the lies we've told, the demons we have both left behind. Not to mention the doubt and everything that could ruin whatever future we could possibly have. Every chapter would be a different story thus this is a book of mini stories with made-up prompts. The Write to Rank contest is held by @action ---- Chapter 1 (White Belt): 100 words of running from a crime scene. Framed or guilty? Chapter 2 (Yellow Belt): 500 words of the epic banter between good and evil. Chapter 3 (Orange Belt): 800 words of a trip gone wrong, action-packed and fast. Chapter 4 (Green Belt): 1.2k words of mystery and action mashup. Write in active voice! Chapter 5 (Blue Belt): 1.2k words of scifi and action mashup. Reaction more than telling. Chapter 6 (Purple Belt): 1.2k words of historical fiction and action mashup. Show don't tell! Chapter 7 (Brown Belt): 2k words one-shot of a clear protagonist and antagonist, cliffhanger, and the line "If we do this, there's no turning back."
