Hawkins was a cursed town, and it wasn't just on March 21st, 1986 when it came to light again. With the arrival of the newest girl in Hawkins comes mystery, a tragic death, and only one thing to do to save her family from an evil that threatens Hawkins and everyone who lives there. 

All hope felt lost for Jaimie Heart. After a college rejection letter from NYU sends the 18-year-old girl into a downwards spiral, her divorced parents come up with the first agreement they had in years. Jaimie needed to move back to Hawkins, Indiana. There, Jaimie is faced with an entirely new challenge...how to make the most of an unideal situation. Luckily for her, Jaimie has one friend who lives there, an opportunity for a job, and a brother who needs her. 

Nicolas Heart knew having his sister back home would make him happy. What he didn't know was that it would help his high school experience. Joining a D&D club only makes it better. But when Jaimie offers to pick up Nick and his friends from Hellfire, she meets a man who turns her world upside-down, someone she may have met before.
