Hello everyone! My name is Jordie Seay. I like to call myself an LGBTQIA+, MUSIC & ANIME conversationalist. I love talking about pop culture within those realms. But now I want to try my hand at writing a story. As you may know...or not, I love BL series. My favorite ghost ship is PODDEARTH. So I decided to write a story with them in mind with a futuristic renaissance, steampunk twist to it as my editor Deanne stated! So hopefully you follow along and enjoy each chapter as they come out! No matter which planet you reside on, it is known that one must meet with the Goddess Of Beginnings to find out who they are soul tied to. Once you know, you must then leave your planet and start a new life with them. Refusal will end up with banishment to the planet Plut, an ice covered wasteland where none have survived. Lynx comes from a planet where females are honorable and could never refuse the word of the Goddess. But she would rather do anything else than find out who her soul is tied to and leave the one she has already fallen for, Seren. They both plan to run away until her mother forces her to meet with the Goddess of Beginnings and find her mate. She finds out she is tied to a male named Scorpius on the planet Ocura, which is said to be one of the most dangerous planets to inhabit. Will Lynx be able to fight the word of the Goddess and be with her true love? Will the magic that ties them be too strong and change her feelings completely? How bad could it be to enlist your female best friend into helping you lie to your Christian family about your new relationship with your male best friend and about your newfound sexuality? Not that bad, right? Right??? --------- Nova Queen and Arizona "Ari" Matthews weren't always close in high school, but after an intense and serious conversation in the library one day, the two become the best of friends until they go their separate ways their freshman year of college. Now in their mid 20s and freshly out of grad school, they are reunited in the park of their hometown where Ari asks a huge favor of Nova that she later wishes she had refused. But in the end, will she really wish she had refused? *FA spans a timeline from 2010-2020 to help the reader see how the relationships were built between characters in a partial series of flashbacks. It also helps the reader to really see into the minds of Arizona and Nova as they age, and the effect different life events have on them. Eynal is a highborn boy who has whatever he could need to be happy but his outlook on life plagues him at every turn, obsessed by the notion that existence is entirely pointless living in his own world void of anything remotely positive he turns a blind eye to anything that is expected of him, but forces beyond him thrust an entirely new situation upon him that he fails to navigate with his usual indifference will he adapt and change as expected? or will he find a way to cast it aside as he always has. This story is based around medieval fantasy with some inspiration from the classics (Lotr, GOT) it will navigate the personal lives of two characters who are polar opposites and an increasingly fragile political situation in the world they live in *this is my first time ever writing something so if i suck please dont bully me XD*Complete
