Lincoln had been struggling with depression for over 5 years. He has tried to commit suicide but with to no avail, he failed. His parents tried everything from giving him anything he asked for or taking him places they know he liked, but something happened to Lincoln on that fateful, the day him and his friend got seriously injured leaving Lincoln the only survivor. After that Lincoln was never the same, he didn't want to do anything, as if a part of him was missing. When things got so intense and his parents weren't seeing any change in Lincoln, they shipped him off to a mental facility. But upon returning home Lincoln grew to resent his parents, being the disobedient and disrespectful child they never asked for.
(This is just a disclaimer that this story might not be portrayed accurately, but the information I have gathered is from family experiences with mental institutions and my experiences with depression and how I felt. I would like to say that some of the stuff said in here could and may be offensive to some but that is just Lincoln's closed minded personality. This is not an excuse to belittle or secretly spread "hate" against any of the topics discussed as I appreciate all people. Doesn't matter if it's racial, cultural, if they have disabilities, and especially on the people with mental issues as this is a frequent topic that Lincoln will bring up)

Running from the gang
In life, we do things we regret, or that we wish we could wipe from our memory forever. At the age of 15, I didn't think I'd regret anything until I was an adult. I considered myself care free. I lived life one day at a time. Well, as much as a 15 year old can. But in life, there are also things that we can't change, that we can't forget. Circumstances change, events occur, and life as we know it is altered forever. He crouches down not breaking eye contact. -"Stella, I'm... sorry. I acted out on you." I know Jacob, and that probably was hard for him to admit. -"Let me treat your knees." He places a gentle hand over my wound. ~ ~ ~ ~ Her Dad was murdered fighting for what was right, her mom didn't love her dad all that much...or her, she plans to follow her dad's footsteps even though that might lead her to death.
