Aurora and Aruna are twin princesses born into the Kingdom of Airre. From an early age, the twins were gifted by Mother Danu with the gifts of the sun and moon. Now, on their 18th birthday, Aurora and Aruna must prove their powers in the Mother Earth Ritual to the many critics of their mother, Queen Raina's, reign. But when rebellion breaks out, the twins are forced to flee their home. Now with the help of a mysterious silver eyed stranger and a race of mystical beings, the twins must do everything in their power to save their people and themselves.
