The shadow of my Dad is casting over my face, blocking the harsh summer sun from getting into my eyes. He's wearing a blue trucker cap and a pair of black sunglasses. His huge grin is taking over his whole face, eyes are crinkled under the dark frames and I can see them from my position on the ground. He's sitting up, with hands and arms stretched out behind him supporting his weight against the yellow grass. "Do you think you wanna fly one of those someday day, bug?"

"Dad, I could never fly one of these."

"Sure you could, you can do anything you want."

"Mom wouldn't let me."

"She can't make you do anything you don't want to, bug."

"I know, but I think I want her to be proud of me."

"You think?" He glances down at me. The movement causes the sun to hit my right eye.

Squinting, I look up, "Ya, I think."

"Ok so let's say if you don't want to make your mom proud, would you wanna fly one of those?"

"I think I would love it."

Just as the words escape, another jet wooshes overhead. I grin up at the underside of the large plane. Carefully watching the wheels recline back into the body and the engine kicking into high gear. Planes are pretty predictable and the act of taking off is like a crescendo. It builds its take-off, hurdling itself down the runway almost to the edge, until you think it isn't going to take off, instead crashing into trees. Right before the edge, it tips its nose towards the sky and tantalizingly lifts itself into the air.

You don't. And, you end up with a roommate who wears a very good elegant mask over the rough and tumble, bad boy core I remember far too well. Only, it's ten years later and I'm even nerdier than I used to be. It's ten years later and I couldn't look worse. It's ten years later and I can't keep one guy. It's ten years later and my brother still teases me mercilessly in front of him. It's ten years later and Kit somehow looks even better than the guy I spent my formative years crushing on. Except, there might just be a smouldering heat in Kit's eyes that suggests he's not quite as out of my league as I thought. Just maybe, this geek is about to get a whole lot of chaos. Kit When I find out about my best mate's little sister's situation, the offer is out of my mouth before I can stop it; Hawk's like a brother to me even if Amber's never looked twice at me. I could never tell if she was scared of me or hated me. But the deal is done. She's going to bring her bedraggled self upstairs to my penthouse and live with me for as long as she needs. I see the pain she hides away, I see the lack of confidence despite how smart she is, how good. If there's something I've learned, it's that confidence makes all the difference. So, it becomes my mission to help Amber find her confidence. But I find more than confidence in her and suddenly I'm seeing my best mate's little sister completely differently. Except, there might be something in the way she smiles at me that gives me hope I'm not as far out of her league as I thought. It might just be time that this chaos gets a little geek.

"Tell me, Eleanor, do you like seeing me like this? Do you like seeing me angry with you?" he yells, banging the spot above my head. I keep my mouth shut so I don't say the wrong thing and make him angrier. "Fucking answer me," he says, roughly shaking my body. "N-N-N-o-o," I stammer. "If you don't, then why don't you ever listen to me? The spanking wasn't enough? Do you need me to unleash my beast on you before you listen to me?" he asks, and I shake my head this time to tell him no. "Then give me a reason why I shouldn't take you across my legs right now and give you twenty lashes on each ass cheek for laughing at something Evan said," he says, and I pause for a minute. "You shouldn't spank me because it's my right to laugh or not at what Evan said." "You see, Eleanor, that's where you're wrong. Only I can tell you if you can laugh or not." "Excuse me?" I ask, looking at him confused and wondering if he's on something. "I own your laughter, Eleanor." "No, you don't." "I do. And not just your laughter. I own all of you." --------------------------------- Eleanor Brown is a lovely lady trying to make ends meets. She lands a job after an unfortunate event happens to her. {Highest Rank In Romance: #20- 18 April 2017} "Th-this isn't allowed..." I mutter at the ground, blushing insanely, and not daring to meet his eyes. "Do you think I care?" he scoffs, and scans the dark, empty back hall for students, though nobody ever comes here. "Why are you scared of me?" he notices I won't make eye contact, and lays a finger on the bottom of my chin, lifting my head up to look at him. He's gorgeous, but extremely intimidating... "I'm-I'm not..." I choke out. He slams me up against the wall suddenly, at the exact moment one of the faulty lights above us flickers, and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. He presses his lips to my neck lightly, and I let out a soft moan, as much as I try to resist. He smirks at the effect he has on me, and runs his fingers down my side, pinning my wrist against the wall with his other hand. He sucks on my neck, and I bite back another moan, but fail, resulting in it being louder than the last. If we're caught, I'll get expelled! I have nowhere else to go! "If I took you back to my place, right now, " he whispers in my ear, and I feel his hot breath on my cheek, sending a chill down my spine. "How long do you think it'll take, before the neighbours know my name?" ________________ Ariana Robinson is a nineteen year-old orphan, who lost her whole family in a house fire, which she happened to be away from at the time, so she was raised in an orphanage. With no relatives, no money, and no plan, she applies for a scholarship at a university, thinking she can build a future, and she gets in. * Noah Foxx is a twenty-four year old billionaire, who gained most of his father's money. ''Let me help you, ma'am,'' a man who was probably the flight attendant said. Damn. Ryerson Reeds even had handsome flight attendants. The man stooped a bit, leaning close to her and taking the seatbelt from her hands. He was holding eye contact and Lyla felt herself grow amused as she stared back at him. He was going to start buckling her up before someone cleared their throat loudly. They both looked up to meet Reeds' blue-green eyes. ''I think I can help my wife, thank you,'' he said. Lyla's eyebrows shot up. The dude barely talked to her and he was already getting possessive? How does that even add up? Reeds stopped taking the two parts of the seat belt in his hands, ''you couldn't do this without help?'' he muttered to her savagely. Lyla glared at him, before he could even get the belt close to her she took it from his hands and snapped it in the right place. She gave him a sickly sweet smile and Reeds simply scoffed and walked to his seat. The rest of the plane ride was quiet. One would think after that small exchange they would start having some kind of conversation. Wrong. ___________________ This isn't a cliche story where the girl falls for the guy by a simply little gaze. She's stubborn, she's maybe a little relatable, and she's assertive. But she didn't think she was for him. Lyla Vell; the name itself oozed the confidence which was her, and Ryersoon Reeds? Two words to describe him: Arrogant and plain painful. And when these two personalities are in an arranged marriage. Shit about to go down. ___ This is my first Wattpad story. Hope you'll like it! This entire story is NOT mature. Only the last few chapters are and you can still finish the plot without reading those few mature chapters. For those who are hesitant to read the story because it is tagged mature, I'm promising you only the last few chapters are mature, you can read chapters 1-19 without any disturbance of smut. That was for those who're hesitant. Love you. DON'T COPY MY WORK!

"He didn't shoot me." I try to sit up, flinching at the pull of my side. "The guard did. He didn't know who I was." Darren clenches his jaw. "You're losing a lot of blood." I force a laugh. "Look, we're running out of time here and if you don't let go now to grab my hand, we're both going down," he pressed, eyes flickering between yours. "And I don't know about you, but I'd really prefer to stay alive tonight. So for both our sakes, you're going to have to take a leap of faith here." "Okay," you finally said, your voice soft, almost a whisper. He widened his eyes, quickly nodding to show you it was alright, that he'd catch you. "On three?" he asked, not wanting to rush you but knowing he had to if you both were going to make it out alive. You gave him a single nod. He hadn't even made it to two before you let go, firmly grabbing his elbow. Your clammy hands nearly slipped, causing you to yelp, but he quickly seized your hand, his fingers slotting through yours with a secure grip. With a strong pull, he lifted you up, the momentum sending you crashing onto him on the cement, safely away from the edge. The wall cracked and crumbled, falling along with the vine into the boiling liquid below. His arms encircled you, holding you firmly against his chest. "I got you," he murmured, letting his head rest against the hard ground as he looked up at the sky, his hands gently cradling your head. Your face nestled into the crook of his neck as you tried to steady your breathing. "I got you." // You've always lived for the dramatics, always patiently waiting for something, anything to change your life. After the earthquake that nearly tore Hawkins apart, you selfishly thought your moment had finally arrived. You didn't believe in coincidences. Hawkins didn't get earthquakes, and for one to just happen at such a huge magnitude was extremely bizarre. Something more had to be at play, and you were determined to uncover it. You didn't anticipate, however, just how much it would impact your life, or that it would all stem from meeting a certain group of people. *This is a Stranger Things Fiction *Steve Harrington x Female Reader

"Cool, lets go!" we jumped off his bed and ran towards his stairway, where he sat on his railing. "What are you doing?" I asked the crazy person. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." His lips still smothered kisses over my neck and his hands roamed my body, starting at my chest, going down to my stomach. Caressing my soft skin, his thumb trailed circles on my groin before slightly slipping into the waistband of my jeans. My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape.
