There are many interpretations of what dandelions represent. Some believe they stand for growth, hope, and healing. Others say they symbolize abundant strength and power.

Since his birth, Meruem strove to reject his humanity, under the premonition that his inordinate strength and supreme power were to rule over all, that there was no room for trivial emotions.

Having spent the majority of her life as a captive, Mara hopes to regain her humanity, to once again succumb to her innermost feelings that have been buried away deep inside her. 

Both believe their predestined paths are set in stone... but just as a dandelion sprouts between the cracks of concrete, something begins to grow between the unlikely pair.
