Alaina Harrington, former Hawkins High socialite, is completely lost in her grief. After the death of her boyfriend Billy Hargrove last July she is different. She no longer brightens the room she walks into. Her shiny blonde hair has lost it's luster. Her friends have stopped calling, because she never answered or refused to hangout. Steve, her brother, can't even get through to her. Everyone is worried. Everyone including the odd Eddie Munson. Eddie sees the pain behind her once bright green eyes. So he extends an invitation to Hellfire, his DnD club that he has with his group of misfit friends. Will she accept?

When Gwen Miller moves to Hawkins, she expects the usual small-town quiet - not three wildly different guys pulling her heart in three directions. Steve Harrington, with his easy smile and unexpected tenderness, is the kind of guy who makes you feel safe even when everything's falling apart. He's steady, charming, and surprisingly self-aware - a man who's been through enough to know what love costs, and still believes it's worth it. Billy Hargrove is the storm she never saw coming - dangerous, magnetic, and hiding bruises deeper than anyone dares to touch. There's a part of him that burns too bright, and Gwen can't tell if she's drawn to the fire or trying to save it. And then there's Eddie Munson - the outcast with a guitar and a laugh that cuts through the noise. He's chaos and comfort all at once, seeing Gwen for who she is, not who the world expects her to be. With him, love feels like freedom. As secrets unravel and loyalties blur, Gwen finds herself at the center of an emotional tug-of-war between three men who couldn't be more different - yet each offers her something she's been searching for. In the end, she'll have to decide what kind of love she wants: the safe one, the dangerous one, or the one that feels like home.
