Blythe Lenoir has an interesting life - it's always been her and her mother in small town Clementine Lake and after an incident in the first grade, she had been homeschooled. Her mother finally gave in and enrolled her into the local high school. Soon after of course, people start disappearing- mainly students at Clementine Lake High School. What's even stranger is that lately, Blythe has found herself waking up in places she doesn't recall moving to, whether that's in the woods, in a closed store, or a strangers house. And she's always alone. Can our heroine figure out what's going on, and why people are missing?

Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. This story is about a high school girl that has a crush on the new kid that just came to town from New York with a dark backstory. Not only does she have a new crush in town but there are a bunch of other secrets that have been coming to light with every sunrise the town sees. This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with.
