I hate saying goodbye to Kara. Watching her run along the platform as the train pulled out of the station broke my heart every time.
This time was different. We had pulled out of the station twenty minutes ago, and she hadn't stopped running. I knew because I could still see her running alongside the tracks, her eyes almost completely white.
