A short story loosely based on Harriet the tortoise's real-life events (born≈1818 - died 2006). Charles Darwin reportedly collected Harriet during his 1835 visit to the Galápagos Islands as part of his round-the-world survey expedition. Harriet lived for approximately 188 years and at the time of her death, she lived at the Australia Zoo, owned by Steve and Terri Irwin.
